10cc - ASTONISHING!

Yes! 10cc was here in Stockholm. And what a concert it was. It's right up there in the top 5 I'v ever seen. Or heard. Cause the sound was great. I know how hard we work to get it right on stage and I'v been on numerous concerts with to much bass or guitar solos that just cut's out any more hearing that night. But here it was perfekt. Perfekt! And the guys on stage, although only five of them, played some of the song just exactly like on the studio albums. And you know your 10cc so you know that the songs are very intrictae and are made up of different parts, sometimes very unlike each other, but they did it the same way on stage. Astonishing. The only young member on stage, Ian Homal, was a musical genius and played anything. From the madolin and bass to keyborads and percussision. And somteimes keyboard, percussision and singing at the same time. Woaw!
Now 10cc music has been over for some years, as you know. They only did 4 albums with all four of the original band members together of wich 3 are legendary. Graham Gouldman and Eric Steward contuinued the 10cc brand with two more legendary albums. Deceptive Bends and Bloody Tourists. And actually a couple of more albums from 10cc was released but... not to the same hights as before.
On concert here in Stockholm only Graham Gouldman was an original member. Although Kevin Godley played the drums in 10cc, the drummer on stage in Stockholm, Phil Burgess, has been playing with 10cc from 1973, when their first album was released. On guitar I listened to Rick Fenn who has played with 10cc from 1977. So I think I know how the song could sound so ... original.
Anyway, thank's Graham, Rick, Phil, Ian, Keith Hayman (keyboards ang guitar) and the rest of the crew for a unforgettable night!
