A SPANJOLETTE!

A spanjolette...you ask? Yeah. It's a bit odd I know. So, the Pop up pop band Forsberg Wilson & Muller feat: The Stefan and the Spanjolettes (FW&M for short) have a little odd setting. Keyborads, bass, drums and a lot of singers. Gus is the lead singer of FW&M but Öjje Forsberg and Challe Wilson are both talented voices. But we need more since a lot of the backgrund singning is intense in the songs and we are experimenting with vocal solos. So we need a gang of talented singers for backnig vocals and... solos. These are the Spanjolettes. Now, why are they called the Spanjolettes? Well first its a swinglish version of espagnolette. Good. But why espagnolette? We are playing a rockband contest in november. It's open for bands that have one of more member that is a consultant in the real estate business. Don't ask why, because no one remembers who started it or who set up the rules. But the trophy have winners company namnes engraved on it from the late 90:s. Because it's the companys bands competing. Any way, bands competing usually take a name that relates to the real estate business. So we did that too. And.... "The Spanjolettes" kind of sonds like motown group from the 60:s, doesen't it?
Now, we just got hold of our first Spanjolette. Clara Wilson. And of course, she's related to Challe Wilson but she has a voice. A really impressive one. Wow! And she just graduated from the most famous and best "Fame" school in Stockholm. So expectations were high. But that was no match for Clara.
So now she is working alongside me at one of the microphones in the hot and loud studio in Aspudden. It feel so good. And I find we work good together.
Welcome Clara!
