Yes, summer has come to Sweden. It's warm, light airs and clear. And then ...... Sweden is just wonderful. So I try to stay in Sweden in summer. Come autumn, winter and spring ... elsewhere is nice. This summer as so often we take our boat out in the achipellago. But there is a big lake west of Stockholm. Stockholm is the lock between the archipellago/Baltic and the big lake Mälaren. Sailors usually think that the sweet water lake (or driknking water as they call it) is no place for real mariners. But they do miss out on a wonderful experience. Lake Mälaren is surrounded by castles and small town each with a well kept harbour. So this is where we are now.
On foredeck of our little boat I have my darling and best friend, Åsa. And she's also backup singer on Gus recordings. Most recently on City Lights. And we will stay out here for a week or more from now. But then... back in the studio.
Yeah, I have been doing much to much other crap (i.e. work..) before summer. Because I had to, but now I will focus on music again. I have a new demo all recorded but for a vocal track and some mixing so that song will be out as a demo soon. The feedback I'v got for it so far is good so it will probably be the next single out. I hope so. Also, during a short stop at my mothers summer home, I sat down at her old piano and banged away a couple of old favourite chords and.... maybe..... there was a new song there. I played it for Forsberg and Wilson as a suggestion for a slow extra number on just song, keyboard and tambourine and they liked it. So ..... we'll see. Forsberg and Wilson you ask? Yes they are part of the pop up pop band Forsberg Wilson & Muller Feat: the Stefan and the Spanjolettes. And they are kick ass musicians so they should know, right? Anyway I already long for those warm and kind of smelly hours in the studio. But for now? Out on the water!
