LOST MYSELF - NEW DEMO

The very first thing I learned on a guitar was G, G, F#, F#, Em. First notes on a single string and the Em as a chord. I learnt it from an american exchange student who was sitting perched on the window sill in a large window at my school. I was in seventh grade. Well that little riff or sequence is in Lost Myself. It's in many places in the song and the intro is the very part he taught me. .... 42 years ago... But now it's there. In a song.
The song is about falling in love ... again. Well I mean it's a song about falling in love. Again. From me. And how this changes a man. It's good, is it not? Yeah probably. But a lot of the things I consider manly are, ......in lack of a better word, lost. And it sure can feel like I lost myself.
Lost myself sounds as it belongs in a pub. It has that singa-along feeling to it. In a Irish pub? Yeah could be. Now, on the demo recording it's not pub guests singing. It's me, Öjje Forsberg and Charlotta Wilson. Layer upon layer. So it sounds a little pubish.
But now the demo is out. And it's on it's way to Micke Moberg of Mimo Sounds Records for production. This will be the next single from Gus.
So, I hope you like it!
